Naar aanleiding van de expositie "De Handschoen in de Kunst" zijn twee werken ontstaan, waarbij gebruik is gemaakt van oude handschoenen. Bij het werk Koestering behoort de volgende tekst :
As an artist you don't always have the possibility to control the working process. Lots of artists have mastered their own techniques and totally rely on them to create their work. De Visser however is guided through life by coincidence. Whatever she finds (that often happens to be material that arouses her interest) she always uses for her next project. Of course you can recognize her own signature, but coincidence is always the masterful director. For Cherishing she used a pair of worn gloves. Gloves are - as she sees it - the personification of hands. And hands can carry, create, tell stories and make love.
